Edith lives in New York City with her husband and 11-year-old daughter, Leah (who is featured in "MOMS"). She is a pediatric nurse who has temporarily stopped working in favor of being a full-time "stage mom" for her talented actress-daughter, who works on Broadway and in commercials.

Words of Wisdom:

GIVING BIRTH
I don't care. When I see someone who's in labor, I'm like, "Scream, do whatever." Why are we wasting so much time trying to make these poor women, you know, controlled breathing. Let it go. Scream for womanhood is what I say.

My mother comes in and I'll never forget, she leans over me and she takes out a cigarette -- I could see she's so nervous for me, she really was. She wasn't going to light the cigarette, but you know she's holding it, and she's like, "If you don't shut up, and you don't calm down, I'm going to smack your face!" I was, like, you know, "Why does everybody hate me? I'm in labor. Somebody help me." And even after, you know, I remember so clearly the feeling of that last push. And, like, the body, Leah's body coming out, and it was the greatest sense of relief I have ever felt in my entire life. I have never felt that feeling like that ever, since that moment -- that last push, and out she comes. And they're like, "Here she is, you have a daughter, she's beautiful." My husband's on his knees, he's crying; everybody's so full of emotion. I was like, "Good, God I'm glad she's OK, all right, I'll see her a little later," and I just wanted to go to sleep, it was so, I was exhausted.
