Words of Wisdom:

THE BEST KID
I think every mother starts out thinking that her child is going to be the best, and that her child is going to be perfect. And then comes that first day when you're out with the kid, he's like about 1 year old and you just think he's so perfect, and he goes up to the little kid, another little kid -- and he bites him. And you know, you're like, "Oh my God! What happened to my perfect child? You know, where did he go?"

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
When they go to school, their first day when they enter school and they come out -- they're different. They are totally different. They are now on their own. They are now impressed with themselves. I mean, they are just like different personalities. They are totally in charge of themselves. They think they're adults.

ON TEENAGERS
Teenagers should have been frozen. They shouldn't have been allowed to move. They should have only been allowed to absorb everything, and then when they became like 21 -- you could unfreeze them.

MOTHERHOOD NEVER ENDS
If they don't need you no more in the workforce, you're eliminated. But, as a mother, you're always needed. As a grandmother, you're always needed. As a great-grandmother, you're probably still needed. I mean, something -- they're always going to need you. So, you're always going to have that job, and nobody can take it away from you. But in the workforce, somebody can come along and replace you with a computer or whatever, you know. You're gone. There's no remorse, no like, you know. But motherhood just goes on and on and on. It's full circle. It's -- you just never retire.
